As a member of ALDAR’s Development Review Team and a Primary Stakeholder in ALDAR’s Planning & Design Department – Mr. Turnbull was responsible for overseeing the re-masterplanning of the previous 2006 Esquisse masterplan including Design Guidelines and Plot Regulation Sheets for all 3rd party plot owners following government land sales. Subsequent, 2-year Detailed Masterplanning & Public Realm reassessment to redirect and guide the new project management. Generated the Preliminary Concept Masterplan for Al Dana Precinct. Known as ‘the Ultimate Waterfront City’ it is one of the most integrated developments, with master-planned communities featuring unique residential, business, educational and entertainment facilities supported by modern infrastructure. A total area of over 6 million sqm and 11 km of coastline, Al Raha Beach offers residents and visitors 43 km of dynamic waterfront living. Home to the ALDAR’s corporate headquarters the estimated project value of USD $20 billion.
